The manual doesnt describe but a good way is to set your sub about where you will sit, then measure frequency response measurements (1/6th octave smoothed, blended window) while you move the mic around to prospective places you could put the sub. Find the best place for under 200hz, put the sub in that place. Then, if an option, try fine adjusting the seating position (moving the mic to nearby spots to find the best). Dont have the seat back against a wall, though, youll never get the mids and highs sounding right there.
