After a period of testing and evaluation, we are finally using LL2785 instead of the standard LL2770 for TU-8600S.
The internal structure of LL2785 is similar to the LL2783C transformer, but without a UL tap. The key to LL2785 production is the winding technique. With stick winding and insulation between each layer of copper, the internal capacitance is reduced, and the consistency is very high.
In order to control the quality of our products, Lundahl also manufactures the C-cores in house.
It is very time consuming to make LL2785 compared to LL2770.
The cost of LL2785 will be higher than LL2770.
I will keep the price the same for PRE-order customers.
