I'm in the process of making an I2S-e connection from a Sony SCD
777ES player to a Sonic Frontiers Processor-3 Tube dac.Final piece
of info missing is how to make the Pacific Microsonics PMD-100 chip work with Sony's CDX 2750Q DSD decoder chip through an I2S-e connection.I have found info about connecting the PMD with other Sony decoders but not with this DSD decoder. Can anyone help? Pacific Microsonics site is turning me to Microsoft's
and although i have email them i don't keep my hopes up high...

I don't know the sony chip, but if you want to connect the pdm to a 'regular' i2s signal it takes just one flipflop. This is in the datasheet of the pdm100.
Delay wordselect with a flipflop, clocked by the bitclock. And use the neg. output of the ff. Ff needs to clock on rising edge.
Works for me with a saa7210.

Guido
