Hello, i decide to fix my old sony lbt n550's cd player but problem is, i cant find kss-271A on anywhere. So my question is, can i use kss-272A or any other kss optic series to replace it? Or any other way to fix it?
Are you sure your cd player uses KSS-271A (rare and really expensive too, if found)? This is a magnetic linear mechanism used in upper range cd-players from Sony. Normally LBT-N550 has the CDP-N550C drive, which uses the KSS-213B (with a traditional gear sled mechanism)...
