I recently replaced the belts in my CD-94 II and it is now performing as it should.
However, when I removed the top panel, I found a small black rubber 'stop' or bumper unattached. Does anyone recognise this and know where it goes and/or what it does? Not having it in place doesn't seem to affect the operation of the deck but it would be nice to know about it and to, maybe, put it back in place when I next change the belts.
I do have a copy of the service manual and the pictures on page 24 suggest that it might be either part number 100M or 170M. Unfortunately, neither of these parts are referred to in either the text of the service manual or the part number/description tables that accompany the exploded diagrams.
