Marantz (CD63KI) how do I lock transport?

I've sold my KI and was about to ship it by courier when I remembered it would be clever to lock the transport, but there are no screw holes I can see to use to secure it - the base plate is heavy and solid.
Any ideas how these were sent from new or how to pack it so it arrives working?
