But dont forget NEC early external CD rom models?

Some models ususaly have manual controls at the front for audio CDs

Excellent parts and mechanic quality.

BUT they need CADDY CD holder. Which is good, anyway not easy to find...
And ergonomcs is somehow complicated. To put every time a CD into caddy versus every CD with owen caddy - separated from the book.

Teac VRDS is top too
And offcourse Sanyo Shiga simply outstanding
