Hi all,
Ordering parts to build my first FreeDSP project.
As I am building the CLASSIC BAL A, there is no BOM attached to the family overview on the FreeDSP site.
So I have used EasyEDA to gather all the parts required. However, I am unsure of one part.
The crystal is 24.576MHz, however, what is the required Load Capacitance for this part?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Hi spiltmidi-San,
I guess the crystal frequency should be 12.288MHz.
If you use 24.576 and Jump P3 pin1-3 DSP will be unstable.
ADAU1701 with 24.576MHz crystal? - Q&A - SigmaDSP Processors and SigmaStudio Development Tool - EngineerZone
Load Capacitance must match your crystal specification.
CL = Cst + (C33 * C32)/(C33 + C32)
Where CL = Load Capacitance, Cst = Stray Capacitance (Suggested around 4pF)
