Hi,
I am looking for a very compact USB DAC PCB design. The circuit should include voltage regulators, OPAMPs, SPDIF out, and also preferred is a design around PCM1798.

Look at the PupDAC as a guide. It uses the PCM1794, which is pin-compatible with the 1798. I believe that the PCM2707 chip used in the circuit can be set to output SPDIF (but the original design doesn't have it, so you'll have to do it yourself)
Schematic is here.

Hmm, thank you for your suggestion. But, I am rather looking for something like this:

I have checked PCM2707 what supports up to 48kHz and 16Bit. This could be a bottleneck.
The commercial design referenced here utilizes a USB processor with more flexible I2S formats, compact DC/DC modules, line isolators between voltage domains, and a proper I/V converter and filter.
If somebody here has a similar design to share layout and schematics that would be great!!

Most of those commercial designs use 24/96 reciever chips, which you as a hobbyist probably can't purchase. I've looked into those companies recently and apparently they only sell in large production-ready quantities. Alternatively, you can program your own microprocessor and drivers if you have the skill to.
For the other equipment (line isolators, IV, etc.) you can pick and choose components from the schematics of other DACs and combine them together in your design. I don't know of any models who have what you want at the moment...

You can get a much smaller pcb based on 2704.
