Hello,
I have a problem I hope someone can help me with.
I have a samsung 40" tv with optical output.
I connected the output to a chinese DAC/Class D Amplifier
(search "TDA7492 Class D Power amplifier 50W+50W support Bluetooth" on ebay).
The problem is that whenever the tv is playing something (movie from usb pendrive/tv signal) the amplifier sounds fine. Not great but there is no obvious noise.
When the television is in standby or I am changing channels or I am on the menu, then I can here a strong hiss/buzz from the speakers. The noise goes away as long as there is a signal coming through.
What can I do?
is the cheap DAC/amplifier the problem?
Do I need to invest in a better DAC? is it jitter?
Thank you very much to all
