Hi.
I've been looking the datasheet of AD1862 and the digital supply can accept voltages that range from +-5v to +-12v.
Does anyone know if there is any performance benefit feeding +-12v to digital supply?
I searched the web and couldnt find an answer
Speed.
If the Digital Chip only has to move 5Volts it it by default 2.2 times faster, due to the slew rate of a chip moving 12Volts.
That is why the fastest domestic memory chips now run at 1.2Volts from 5Volts.
