Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any DIY projects for an ADC/DAC with ADAT? I would like 8 channels and only need 44.1. I basically just need to add an extra 8 line inputs/outputs to my soundcard.

I would buy the Behringer ADA8000, but the quality of the converters is not that great and there is a lot of extra circuitry to cause noise (preamps etc.).

Have there been any further developments on this? It would be something that would be great to see.

I'd seen the Applied Technologies Dice Mini, which looks ideal for 8/16channels, but it doesn't make much sense to me - has anyone used these?
