but the funny part is when the amplifier is cut off the blue LED on the amplifier is still on and the multimeter still have the 19v dc present

You need to monitor the PSU voltage as you crank it up


If it stays up at 19V throughout the test then the problem is on the amp board

the problem was solved ... indeed was a wiring mistake where i accidentally joint 2 of the negatives together forgotten that they operate in BTL mode ... thats why keep them tripped when turn up loud ... now it bangs the bass happily ...

only to trace back to TI datasheet to realize that the speaker -ve terminals must not be joined together ... due to previously was using LM1875 setup thus the speaker -ve were common together when doing amp swap that was not changed

but sound quality wise i found that it was on par with the LM1875 albeit just with the TPA3116D2 sounded more punchy bass than LM1875 ... how about others opinions here?
