My TDA7498E board I left almost as I received it. It had a volume potentiometer, a heatsink with a temperature controlled fan and a decent output filter. I noticed no real needs for modification.
The TK2050 board had a price close to the other. But, it had no volume potentiometer and the heatsink was close to insufficient. The heatsink quickly got to 50-60 degrees with 36V supply and heated the capacitors nearby. Class T has a variable and typically higher carrier frequency which causes further heating. The output filter coils were insufficient for the power it can deliver. So, I did rather a rebuild of that board. In the end it worked very well.
