I am planning to build an amplifier for my car,Basically I wanted to build an amlifier for the Subwoofer so I have two choices,
1) TI TPA3255 based amplifier
2) Elliot based amplifier 300/500W Subwoofer Power Amplifier

Both the amp's PCB and Electronics will be build by me (Designed, fabricated and Tested)

Your Suggestions are welcome

1.if you like old fashion, just try Elliot based amplifier
-pCB desing is easy and simple circuit
-little bit complex to fix errors
-need split power supply,smps desing is complex sometimes
-cost more (4X) than class D desings
-need large heatsink or +fan to cooldown
-inefficient

Thanks for your Ideas,I do like the TPA3255,It has such a small foot print that I can Pack 400w RMS into a 50mm x 50mm Design,For which I am Deciding to build the amplifier and Give those ready-made or PCB for low prices to interested people.
I am thinking of an Class D Car Amplifier and a Home Based Powered Subwoofer Amplifier.
