Can an svi3206 be used to replace an svi3205

Hi, I understand that the svi3206 has the same pin configuration as an svi3205.

However it's not clear if a Svi3206 can work in an svi3205 amplifier.

Does anyone know if they will ?

Also..

Does anyone know if these chips can be tested out of circuit by measuring forward and reverse resistances across the pins or any other out of circuit way.

The 3206 is a slightly higher wattage version of the 3205.
It "should' work as a replacement, but might be a bit lower in wattage due to existing unit's design

Yes I'm aware the 06 is a higher output than the 05.

I've replaced an 05 with an 06 and no relay click after 4 seconds.. Nada. Blank.

I've then put the broken 05 back in and relay clicked and right channel works as before but not left .. which was the problem.

I then put a second 3206 in and same thing.. no relay click and no output.

I just wonder if there is a reason these 3206 haven't worked.
