Deck Outputs Wired Together??

Is it possible to wire together speaker outputs from the deck to produce two higher wattage channels?

Objective: The back left gets wired somehow to the front left and then the same with the right channel outputs. Perhaps some sort of cheap resistor may need to be used on each channel's wiring?

Reason being is that using only front speakers helps with imaging and my current front speakers can handle much more wattage than they're currently getting. I'd hate to buy an amp if I can just re-wire the system and remove the rear door speakers.

And, who cares if the people sitting on the rear bench get good sound?? hahahaha

Thanks,
Joe
