I know it’s probably been answered 100 times .

But what causes these resistors to burn ?

Do they typically run hot or is it another reason

I’m talking about the 10 ohm resistors

They burn when there is a voltage difference between the primary and secondary grounds. It's generally due to either a bridging speaker wire being shorted to ground or a shorted transformer.
