need help to fix a coustic power logic amp..

Hey all. I was wandering if anyone on here works on car audio amps? I got a coustic power logic 260 that the right channel is not working at all on. I've never done any work on amps, just the installation part. If anyone would like to take on the task or can refer me to someone, i'd like to talk about it and see what we can do..thanks fellas!

Are you sure that the problem isn't a dirty switch or pot, a bad connection on a connector or a broken wire, internally?

no. not sure perry. Like I say, I've never worked on a amp before and wouldn't know where to start.

Unless you’re emotionally attached you’re better off in my experience to just buy a new one. Car amps just don’t have enough value IMO to pay for repairs.

Start simply by connecting a signal source and speakers and operating the gain control and switches to see if any audio will ever play through the dead channel. If not, remove the bottom cover and see if you see any broken wires or connectors that look like they're coming apart.

If this is one where the side heatsinks are loose, tighten the end screws before you do anything.
