If i remember right, the correct value for irfz44n is 82/100R

I would do as Perry suggested in several other 500/1 post and used the irf3205 with 47 ohm gate resistors. I have done at least 6 and haven't had one come back.

yes, for irf3205, 47r is the right value, but if you use the original fet (z44n) 100r is more reliable.
