Input ground is connected with output ground on the board, however, they are run as two separate connections to the board (SG and OG pads)
Yes, that transformer is fine.
i have 25-0-25 Vac (250VA) rated toroidal transformer. after rectification it will give 35.35Vdc. will this be ok for LM4780 amp in any of the mode?
Yes, that transformer is fine.
Hi Peter,
I am new to this forum and i am interested in building a multi channel speaker system with LM4780 chips. Can you please suggest what should be the transformer that will be sufficient to power up all the chips. Below are the details of the system that i am planning to build.
No of satellite channels : 5 or 7 (60W)
Subwoofer : 1 (120W)
Currently i am on my way to collect some data.
Planning to use 30v-0-30v 5 Amp.
I already have 4 10000uf 63v caps.
Regards,
Naveen P.

Peter,
For those of us who are red/green color blind, could you post separate schematics for the different configurations?
That info, with pictures, was posted here: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/audi...chip-amp-kits-dacs-chassis-13.html#post636565
