Linn K18-II Cartridge Question

Can one use the replacement stylus of a Linn K18 Version 1 model cartridge on a Linn K18-II version body?

If it fitted I would see no reason not to be able too just be careful or ask a local Linn dealer.I saw someomeone who tried an Audio-Technica stylus that was almost the same.
