angle audio phono stage

I've got a new 2017 angle audio virtual battery cost £220 I get the flashing charging light and the constant green when charged then when I turn it on the red and green stay on ..if I pull the power lead the stage just dies ..I thought it suppose to have battery ?? my brother has a older model and when he pulls the power lead it stays on and uses the battery

I don't know if anything wrong with mine has people got the same model ?

Has it been plugged in overnight, long enough for the battery to fully charge?
Is the AC socket where it is plugged in continuously powered, or do you
sometimes turn it off with a wall switch?

the unit is left on all the time, OFF on the front panel but wall socket on

I would the best thing to do is to check with the manufacturer.
