I am at a crossroads in my studio. My DAC has unbalanced -10 outputs. I currently have a set of decent active studio monitors which have +4 balanced inputs. I need to decide whether to change to an amplifier with -10 inputs, build a DRV134 or similar line driver, or purchase a line driver. I was looking at ATIaudio's line driver, not sure about their quality and their design. Any opinions or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I do want to stick with the DAC that I have for now. Thanks.
I would assume so as long as the chip maximum voltage ratings are not too closely approached. Be sure to properly decouple the chip supply pins.
A simple CRC filter on each supply or even 15V regulators would assure that the supplies to the DRV134 are clean and ripple free.
