Excel Sound...

It was (I pressume) inexpensive. A grey plastic part (where the screws go) and no goldplated coil surround, Can't remember the model ref. The job was for a friend and maybe I went a bit overboard with the mods. I work with Gyger FG 11 styli which are thinner and lighter than the original cantilever which was irrepairable. I fitted on of these, my own damping material and another magnet, slightly longer and more powerful.
In fact these modest mods made the Excel sound better than my Grace F-9.
