What is the Impedance (Or R at DC) of the ZV4 as seen from the power supply looking into the amp? How is this determined? - or measured?

I'm trying to calculate how much voltage will be lost by using an inductor in the PSU.

Thank you!

Mike

Is it the same as the load impedance?

Voltage drop across inductor

Because the circuit is Class A and has almost constant current draw the voltage drop across the choke is not determined by the input impedance of the V4 boards.
Take the current level (2.8 - 1.3 amps per channel) times the DCR of your chokes and this should give you the drop across the choke. For a good power supply choke this is very small.
I found some nonmagnetic 0.546 ohm, 1 %, 3 watt resistors to set the bias in my amp. This should give about 1.2 amps draw. My power transformer is 38 - 38 with one winding per channel. The choke stumbled on are 4 mH, 4 amp, 0.23 ohm DCR. I expect about 0.35 volt drop.
One area where the V4 might benefit is from upgrading the basic supply. But the capacitance multiplier will mask some of the power supply problems.
