This amp came in with a blown PS.After getting the supply to work i realize the amp is taking to long to get out of protect sometimes, especially the first power up after i let it seat for a while.It acted that way even when i had no PS FET install.Any suggestions?

For pins 1 and 7 of the 8-pin comparator on the driver board, which pin 1 or 7 is near 12v when the amp is in protect?
They should both be near 0v.
They should both be near 0v.
The attached diagram should be close. The section of the comparator that's going high is used for over-voltage, over-current and DC offset. You need to determine which is causing the problem.
