Zetex has some exelent transistors for MOSFET drivers

Check out ZTX718 and its counterpart ZTX618 for your discrete mosfet driver stages.

They have tremendous drive capability (High I pulse) and very low saturation voltage. Nothing like anything I have ever seen.

why would it be such a great thing? hfe/ic seems to be very soft. and what about its Vce rating?
