Hi.
I have managed to get hold of a Zeta tonearm and i have made a cable up, using a clearaudio 5 pin din. However the pin configuration appears to be non standard and i get a funny noise through the speakers indicating it is wired up wrong. I have tried it on my ITTOK and it works fine so i know there is no issue with the cable.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram shwing the pin configuration of the Zeta, or can anyone tell me what it is.
Grateful of any help in this.
Kind regards
john

Remove the cartridge from the Zeta, plug the armcable on and measure from headshell tags to RCA plugs and see if they are correct. If not, then some wrong connection is done on the output plug of the Zeta.I'll try to send you the pin identification in a while
As you see the arm cable's 5-pin connector from the front, the center pin is the ground(this should be on top as you look at it).To your left as you see it is the L- and far left is the L+
To your right as you see it is the R- and far right is the R+

Remove cartridge and measure/test continuity from cartridge tags to the connector in the base of the arm and write down what connects where, then make your lead accordingly.
The configuration given by Panicos is the industry standard and should be the way the Ittok is wired.
