Looking around this LCD is available for around $325
It has a tuner, composite, Svid and Component inputs. It also has a VGA input and it has a remote control.
As long as it is easy to strip, it looks like it could be a good candidate for the mid-priced OHP system.
The only bad thing that I can see is that it has a 350:1 contrast ratio, I think that this may be a bit low for a 400W system.

350:1??? thats a very good contrast ratio...people down at lumenlabs are making amazing quality projectors with monitors at that contrast ratio...the price is so so but if used with an ohp i say yes...give it a shot...but stripping just may be a problem...
