I want to build a Zen Light amp with BOZ pre-amp in one case, fed via a external PSU unit. I will build the complete PSU in one case (transformer, bridges, CRC, and the inductor/cap combo to filter the supply. I will carry the supply to the amp case via 3 prong (maybe xlr) connection with V+, Gnd, and Chassis Gnd. I will do final filtering and regulation local at the individual circuits.
Is there anything wrong with feeding all three circuits from 1 V+ using the ZEN V3 regulator to filter the individual circuits?
I guess this picture is my best doodle of what I am trying to show:
Thanks,
Steve

Im getting a feeling that maybe it is as simple as I think it is.
Just wanted to ask before I p2p a bunch of stuff and then see a bunch of magic smoke when I power it all up.

I think you're adding a lot of complexity by trying to build everything in one case.
Is there a reason for needing it all in one box?

simply put, WAF
I already have the itch to build, but not the need. I really do not need a bed room listening system as she points out.
But there was this nice pair of Relistic full range speakers, and these heat sinks rescued from the scrap metal place, and well I might listen to music when I read in bed or to get away from the kids. I know she likes listening to music when putting on make up too, but not enough for me to build another "tank" sized amp.
I know how far I can go with this build. It seemed all in one "integrated" would be the best way to go.

...you do realize this will be a large amp with 4 large light bulbs sticking out the top, right! 🙂
-and heatsinks that will run very hot to the touch...
I don't think there are many times ZEN and WAF will be found in the same room holding hands! 🙂 🙂
I am being a big downer to your build aspirations - sorry. If it were me, i'd build the Balanced Zen Light
and pair it with the Balanced Zen Line Stage (BZLS) ((much better than the BOZ))
it's a match made in ZEN / WAF Heaven! They'll make beautiful music together 🙂 🙂 🙂 Good Luck!
