Now I know there is a lot of smoke surrounding this driver but would any1 happen to know where one could come by a midrange pair? I know that, at least 4 awhile, E-speakers had some on special order, outside of that can't find a pair anywhere. If you happen to see a pair 4 sale, it would be greatly appreciated if you would let me know!
Thx in advance,

Lookup "Gorlich" drivers. The ATD curvilinear titanium that E-Speakers had a few years back were not the same as the Zellaton drivers. The ATD are available from China, and the Gorlich in Europe.

I looked yet couldn't come up with anything, do you know where they might happen to be for sale? BTW ATD are the same people people that made the mid bass cone for the Magico Mini?
Just links to a blank google page...least for me. After some snooping, and using other sources I found what i was looking for!
Audio Chassis Berlin | Expolinear
Now I have another question anyone have any information in regards to the difference between ATD and Gorlich drivers? BTW also got some specs and measurements!
Sorry.
For me it leads to podszus görlich search results with at least a few retailers in Europe.
This is the top result:
AUDIO CONSTRUCTOR Podszus-Görlich specialist
(hope this works otherwise it starts to get embarrassing.)

Worked no problem for me in Google, but the other link right below it and listed by Clashing has more info in pdf form.
Speaking of Google 'blanks' though, recently I'm getting more n' more of both them and an error message saying I'm trying to connect to an unsafe site, so won't connect me. I use Firefox and no problem with any of them.

The Gorlich drivers from the 30's are the old style ones which the new Zellaton's are based on. Zellaton in Germany now builds the newer style drivers for their speakers
Zellaton ? The Legendary Speaker - and unfortunately does not supply drivers separately 🙁
The Gorlich and Zellaton drivers are very similar, due to the design goals, in their T/S parameters and sonic reproduction (compared a few using reference mics and software) with the Zellaton capable of much higher power handling and durability. The Gorlich drivers have always been musical but very fragile and practically impossible to be properly repaired.
The ATD is a Chinese made copy that lacks the magic of the original designs....

As far as I know, it can't be done/sourced. This is why these Gorlich drivers are to be avoided. How I wish Zellaton sold drivers separately.

Looking into that... may be possible...one issues though is limited dynamics. If I had to pick a cone technology to get my hands on its a dead heat between Raidho and Magico cones!
I disagree. The new Zellaton drivers (not Gorlich) are superior to Raidho and Magico in terms of dynamics and overall musicality. Zellaton is faster and tighter by no small measure...
i'm in the process of getting my 15cm Podszus-gorlich Vollkonus repaired, using original materials so it can be done...(through expolinear)
And it is done, they are looking new (well they should with completely new cones) and also sound like new they are still breaking in but I'm quite happy already.
