Many regular members of this forum should know that one of my favorites is Salyu (pronounced say-lou), a Japanese female power singer and voice actress with a vocal range of about 2½ octaves. She became more widely recognized over a decade ago through the mournful Bank Band charity single "To U" where I first heard her.
Many bands sound appealing to me. But if chosing, my favourite band would be Queen. Listening to them is like returning back to my past.
Another of my favorite female singers is Olivia Ong. Unlike Salyu above, Olivia's voice is soft, articulate and very sweet. A Girl Meets Bossa Nova 2 was my introduction which lead to several other album purchases. Most of her English albums are 24 bit HDCDs with exceptional sound quality.

Some of Frank’s potty-mouth lyrics are certainly not something to share with grandma, but he was a prolific and I think insanely talented composer.

Yes, she has a good point, it's more what you are than what you do. What I mean is I've stopped trying to make a living at it
