I'm very new, so bear with me...
I was given a 17" LCD monitor yesterday, which stripped well and seems to be great. But I keep seeing issues with corners being out of focus and all sorts of problems with 17". It seems like to get it to work, I'll need to shell out more cash than if I bought a new 15". So I was wondering, will I still have to treat it like a 17" if I simply shrink the image down with the monitor controls? If I add space on all sides of the image, can I simply set up the fresnels and such as if I were using a 15" monitor?
(I would just put it together and try it, but I can't order the rest of my parts for over a week and need to "get it right the first time" so that the wife doesn't glare at me too much.) 😉
