Ok I have a xd 1000 1v2.
Came in with a no power up condition no green led
So I opened it up and of course gets 3205s were smoked and blown apart. I replaced them with compatibles from mouser. All the .47 gate resistors read .47 and are functional. Two of the 3 leg bipolar transistors labeled as had holes in center so I replaced them with 3906s. For some reason one set reads collector to ground and other set reads all three pins to ground. Weird Id say.
Still have no power up from amp after reassembly. And testing. It caused my display board to short and turn off all radios on that power supply. So I've disassembled it again. Any ideas from any geniuses out there I'm out of ideas and would greatly appreciate any input. I do have scope and meter and all your normal equipment

You are talking about a product very few of us knows. I had to look at the Internet to see it is a 1000W sub-woofer amplifier for a car, thus, operated from 12V (and drawing a lot of amperes).
The "3205s" are probably IRF3205? The "3906s" are probably 2N3906 (PNP, general purpose)?
Your explanation "For some reason one set reads collector to ground and other set reads all three pins to ground. Weird Id say." is not clear. Are we talking about the damaged or new transistors?
Until now, you have changed all that physically looked damaged and it still does not work?
Would you happen to have a schematic?
With 12V supply and 1000W output power it is obvious that the amplifier has got some kind of step-up (boost circuit) converting the 12V into a much higher voltage. Can you find a SMPS IC somewhere on a board? First you need to make the power supply work before looking at eventual damages in the amplifier.

Yes if 3205 mosfet I have replaced those. And next to those are 3906 bipolar transistors 2 were burnt I replaced those as well. I believe there to be a massive short in the power supply as when I connect the amp to a power supply it shuts it down
A 1000W amplifier operated from 12V handles up to some 80Amp. 80Amp can really cause damage when a fault occurs. Your amplifier may have overloaded the power supply and caused a permanent short in the power supply.
It is very difficult to look for faults in a complete system (power amplifier / power supply / pre-amplifier circuits / protection circuits). I suggest you try to isolate (disconnect) the individual circuit parts and see if they work individually. Test the amplifier part with another power supply and a 4 Ohm load. Test the power supply with a 100 Ohm dummy load.
This way you get an idea about which circuit parts are defect.
Did you find any interesting ICs that could give a hint to how the design is made?
