I have a plate amp used to power a 15" subwoofer in a Acoustic Research 315OH speaker. It is rated at 500 watts. It has no external adjustments for x-over frequencey or bass boost, but I think internally you can adjust them, although I'm not sure.

Hmm, that might be more power than I wanted, any chance you can take a look at what is adjustable? Bass boost isn't important but I was hoping for x-over adjustments.

The phase and x-over frequency is not adjustable. I believe it's down 3 db @ 24 db/octive @ 100-130 Hz.

I got 100 watts RMS out of it @ 4 ohms I think, but it might be designed to be able to power low impedance subs. Or i measured wrong.
