Just to clarify things, my plugin is priced 49 euro. I have seen 5842 being sold for 100 euro or more.

Doede has some left from his former DAC project.

There is a tiny difference, I slightly prefer 5847, it seems to offer a little more resolution.

I tested 50 pieces. 4 out of these where even a tiny little bit better - weird

Unfortunately, I've only got one SM5842 left now - and I would be hard pressed to part with it.

However, I have some SM5843 on which I would be willing to accept offers.
