WTB: Kapton or Mylar tape

I have a toroid that had the mylar tape start to lose it's adhesive in my hot garage here in Texas. Does anyone have a spare roll they can sell? The tape is cheap but sites want $20 for shipping. For tape??? C'mon!!! 😡

If you are not familiar with ordering from DealExtreme, backorders are common, with packaging/delivery times of >2 weeks (less if you get really lucky).

I have some 3" wide Kapton tape

They are new rolls of 3M brand, but I can not recall the total footage on these rolls. Where did you find it online? I will match their price and only charge you $10.00 for shipping thru USPS 🙂

Hi Michael,

3" is too wide. The original was about 1/2" wide tape. You're just up the road from me, darn it.
