would a 3rd order box's GD be audible vs 2nd order in an average room?

say I take a Stereo Integrity H15D2, put it in a 56 liter closed box and use a 600uF cap in series to effect the "boost". Group delay goes from ~6.8ms without the capacitor at 31Hz to ~37ms when the cap is added. Other than better LF extension, would there be any noticable difference in timbre?

Do you have a DSP? If you can mimic the frequency response using IIR filters (for example, regular biquads), you can listen for yourself.
