Hi,
I err... found some Wisdom Audio drivers just in the electronics recycling where I live! I know there's a high end audio/studio dealer/installer who lives in the nearest block so they might be discarded by him or perhaps from an upgraded apartment install? Fingers crossed they're not just blown but they do measure 6.3 ohms across the flying leads so I'm hopeful..
Anyway, does anyone know much about these drivers (web photo below), their specs, their internal crossovers (presuming they have them), is it an OEM driver? I'm hoping I might be able to integrate them with some Volt mid/bass drivers I have, else some ATC PA375 15" drivers if these mid/tweeter units go low enough? Perhaps they even contain a high pass filter so I can drive them direct?
as used in these P48s for example:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Thanks, yes pretty lucky. I was actually going to find a cheap colour printer to use but lucked out on these! Well, lucky if they work fully anyway.
I've emailed Wisdom Audio now so hopefully they'll be kind and help me out..

If they work you are one lucky dude 😉
I'm sure you will need a mid or mid woofer, they will not go down to meet a 15 inch ,,,, they dont have a big enough area/displacement.
Once heard a set of Wisdom Audio adrenaline m75 ....... best speakers I have ever heard!

Sadly still no reply from Wisdom Audio so if anyone has any info on where to cross these over with a bass unit I'd greatly appreciate it.
I think a review of the P48s (picture above) might have said 750Hz.. I'll have to find it again.
Plus, these are sealed units so does that mean that there's no need at all for an enclosure? Would a baffle be beneficial (3D imaging is always my goal even if it needs my head in a vice to keep it in the sweet spot)?

Ah well, I sent the email again and got a polite reply - they didn't want to tell me anything and recommended not to bother using them for DIY with some reason that they have a complicated response only overcome with DSP and so would be too difficult to get working well anyway..
That last bit doesn't ring true as I thought they contained their own crossover inside.. ?
Anyway so I opened one up! And indeed there are crossovers inside capacitor and inductor for mid, and capacitor and inductor for tweeter. I'll have to take out the crossovers and see if these are just zobel networks or 2nd order crossovers.. If zobels I guess they could be right about needing DSP (but DSP calibration is do-able).
I'll post up some pics soon for anyone interested.
Disappointingly, considering the P48 speaker seen in the OP is $12,000 a pair! (in 2010, ref: Wisdom Audio Sage Series Speakers Reviewed) the caps used are.... $2 caps from Erse : ERSE - PulseX. Inductors are also Erse.
Not a surprise sadly but sometimes I really do hope to find a high-end product which actually uses expensive components to justify prices. Perhaps you pay for other things.
