Hi I made my own buffer with some nicer parts. Here is the schematic for the power supply,

and the actual buffer itself is Figure 15, C, here,

My question is where do I wire the grounds from the RCA's coming in? Also should system ground be chassis ground, or would it be best to just make a separate earth ground to chassis?

Anyone that knows maybe fill me in? I looked through the ACGI but it never really answered my particular situation that I could tell. Plus it was super confusing since it is not in regular electronic terms.
Not very helpful to me...
Just read carefully the whole article (all 6 pages) and you'll know everything you need to know about grounding in audio (inclusive your situation).
But then again, maybe you don't really want to put some effort into learning process and just want someone to spoon-feed you...
I am the sort of person that uses deductive logic... so if I knew what was right I would theorize why and then would be able to draw lots of conclusion from it.
Also I am in the middle of finals in college. I find doing solder work meditative and my new $10 transport that works great has too strange of parts for me to work on it, plus they are damn good stock so I am not finding myself with anything to do but my buffer.

If you aim at college degree you surely must know that deduction begins with facts. And facts must be learned...I am the sort of person that uses deductive logic...
The only way to know is to learn.... if I knew what was right I would ...
OTOH, if you "find soldering work meditative", you are free to try different combinations of wires - one or even more of them is surely right.
I know some electronics (not an engineer obviously).
Also last time I had this almost running because of a confusing PDF for orientation of the JFETs I ended up having to put in new amplifier boards and chips, and new volume control.
