I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I have an old Peavey CS200 power amp and a dead power switch on it. What I want to do is remove the switch from the circuit and just have it power on when plugged in (for now anyway). I am comfortable doing some wiring but this switch has me a little confused. It has 6 posts and I've labeled them in the diagram I was able to find. The diagram had a different switch so I've modified it to show the original switch and wiring (not the best drawing. Sorry). Any ideas how to take the switch out and have it just turn on when plugged in? I was thinking of connecting the wires attached to post (1 and 4) and (3, 5 and 6). Not sure what to do with number 2. I'm all ears and I really appreciate any help I can get.

Its a DPST switch (the corner contacts) and the centre pair of contacts are just the bulb.
Its used as an mains isolator (switching neutral and live).
Bridge 1 to 4, bridge 3 to 6, leave 2 & 5 as is.
