Hi,
A while back I purchased a DACT CT2-10k-4 Audio attenuator. Im now almost finished my preamp project and Im a little puzzled on the best method to wire up the attenuator. I would like to get some sort of 3 pin female socket(The DACT has 3 pin male headers per channel) to connect my silver wire to it, plugging that socket into each respective attenuator pin header. Could you recommend a connector?? Does anyone know the pin spacing/pitch?
Anyone have any experience with connecting these up?
Thanks!!
Tom

Cheers,
I’ll call you Raincheck,
The distance between pins is .1” that 2.54mm and the pins or .025” .64mm standard sizes. Molex has just the item you need.
Molex
KK series type 22-01-0237 it’s a 2696 series terminal housing with locking ramps Newark stocking number is33c9135. These are design for a .025” pin.
Molex
You will need the gold pin for the connector series 2759 terminals for .10” applications the part number is 08-55-0102, Newark number is 35C4980. However, you have to buy 100. I can use some of these myself. You can hand crimp these are purchase a tool 31F049 Newark part number. The pin will accept wire from 22 through 30 AWG.
Amp also has an similar part but not quite as good as the Molex.
Any with this three pin socket and these pin you'll be all set. I solder the other end to the PCB.
Also, you Newark sales the Vishay-Roderstein OSCON capacitors, you should check them out. 😉
