Hi
I work in a school and need to buy a wireless headphone mic for our PE teacher who is losing her voice. I know nothing about audio systems!!
We currently have a Vision Pro amp in our sportshall and a Sennheiser Freeport that links to a hand held mic. Do I just need to mic the wireless head mic and body pack to connect to the Freeport, or will they not be compatible?
Any advice/recommendations would be great!
Thanks
Tracey

You need a headset mic and a body pack for the Sennheiser system, I know they sell a complete kit like this with the receiver but I have never seen the parts sold separately.
Yes, unless you find something used on Ebay you won't find the parts separately. A brief survey of popular retail sites reveal those Sennheiser freeport systems are no longer available.
If you need a basic Lapel mic for voice, Gem sound produces one cheaply. I assume low cost is what you want based on it's intended use. Search "GMW62"
Be warned, all cheap wireless mic systems suffer from wireless interference and generally short operating range. Read reviews and make sure you know what you are buying.

I purchased an Audio Technica "Freeway" wireless head-mounted mic system for around $100. I find it quite satisfactory for spoken voice, such as seminars, internet radio, etc.
