It would probably more wise to consider what is the maximum resistance that you can accept.
In the case of a crossover inductor, for example, it is beneficial to have the lowest resistance that is practical.
Sure, 0.8mm may be able to handle 10amps, but consider the heat generated.
In other applications, the resistance may result in an unacceptable voltage drops / power loss

Once had a speaker system with 1 mm copper air-core inductors.
Worked fine until we had a little party using a NAD 80 Watts amplifier... After app. 5 hours we got a total melt down on two of the air-core inductors :hot:

Lesson learned; Design your filter to be able to handle what your speakers can handle, even thought you may not use this max for 99.9% of the time 😉
