I have a solid core 0.8mm diameter copper wire (air-core speaker inductor) that needs to pass a maximum of 10A current. I am somewhat confused with the chart as there are 2 current rating.
would this inductor be okay to use?

What is your application? Speaker choke?
10Arms? 400/800W @4/8 Ohm?

A 0.8mm wire isn't much, when you want to pass 10 amps through it. Especially when you intend to wind it up to a coil....
I think your coil rather fast will get very hot and short circuits

It would probably more wise to consider what is the maximum resistance that you can accept.
In the case of a crossover inductor, for example, it is beneficial to have the lowest resistance that is practical.
Sure, 0.8mm may be able to handle 10amps, but consider the heat generated.
In other applications, the resistance may result in an unacceptable voltage drops / power loss

The resistance may be an issue with amplifier damping factor, but surely we are not expecting this amp to deliver *continuously* 10A? This IS audio, right? With an average power output of a few watts?

Once had a speaker system with 1 mm copper air-core inductors.
Worked fine until we had a little party using a NAD 80 Watts amplifier... After app. 5 hours we got a total melt down on two of the air-core inductors
Lesson learned; Design your filter to be able to handle what your speakers can handle, even thought you may not use this max for 99.9% of the time 😉
