Wilmslow Audio ATC C6 Center clone

Hello all, my first post and first DIY project, I was looking for a REAL center channel to replace a Definitive Tech unit, and saw an ATC C6 online.The real one is out of my budget so I contacted Wilmslow Audio, Neil put together a set of very detailed CAD drawings and sorted out all the drivers, an ATC sm 75-150, (2) sb75-234 and a scanspeak 2904/7100, hardware, crossover and all the bits needed to clone one.I just need to finish off the internal bracing and prep for some Kevizinga veneer.More pics when finished. Any threads that people know of regarding the finishing of veneer would be awesome. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Gassman, you should have a nice sounding centre speaker. The ATC mid will give great clarity for the voice. Progress looks good on your cabinets. Is the front baffle fixed, and if so can you remove the ATC speaker from the cabinet when assembled?

Yes, this will have a removeable front baffle, I will either carbon fiber veneer the front baffle or will paint black. I wanted to have the removable front baffle to make it as close to the real one as possible.

any tips on finishing my veneer?????? I'm new at finishing and would like a semi-gloss look

Veneer is all on...sanded...sanding sealer and wipe on poly time
