i was at the local university surplus yesterday and i saw that they had a light, presumably from a parking lot pole on the rack, i didnt think to grab any of the numbers off of it, it looks like it has the ballast bulb reflector and full enclosure. I just overlooked it assuming it would be tooo bright/colors would be off; plus i had to snatch the two perfect condition victor CO2 dualguage regulators on the shelf, $8 bucks and i walked away with them, the diy keg frige is comming together😀

the store isnt open on wednesdays but they are tomorrow, i will go back and get some details.

ok, stoped back at the surplus store this morning, its regualar parking lot light, the specs are as follows

120v
175W MH

Is this worth the $30 bucks they want for it, price is probably negotiable, everything is in there😀

So maybe like $20 for it, is that going to be anywhere near bright enough for a 15inch lcd?

i just snatched up a 3M 9080 OHP w/ new in box bulb for $25. I thought it was a good buy, but checking around it appears it is only a 2500 lumen projector, is it worth it to keep this thing?
specs
360W ext
82U lamp

but on the ceramic part you actually plug the bulb into it says something about 500w, can i replace/upgrade the bulb with a brighter one then?
