I have been searching and can't find the same resources I used 20 years ago for decent tube amplifier kits. Could anyone guide me somewhere other than the cheap Chinese stuff on Ebay? I'm looking to build an EL34/6L6 push-pull... Thank you in advance!
triodeelectronics.com near chicago.
dynaco clones with US chassis & transformers. ST70 is stereo EL34 Mark III are mono. dynaco are hifi. Recommend the teflon wiring, cloth insulation wears out. My dynakit ST70 amp is 57 years old.
Also guitar amp kits (restricted bandwidth, filtering for coloring.)
Reason for teflon wire, my unit has required 4 electrolytic cap replacements. Also selenium rectifier to silicon diode conversion, plus a new potentiometer. Waving the soldering iron around burns insulation except teflon.

Again, modified/improved Dynaco based kits.
I built an ST-120 from VTA a few months back. I found the kit very easy to build, support response was great, and the amp sounds phenomenal.

why don't you just rebuild a nice Dynaco st70 or a vintage PP 6bq5 amp?

Dynaco, again. And they're replicas of the originals down to the 7247, 6AN8A, and 7199 input tubes.
They also sell the PAS and SCA-35 Chassis, if you ever want to make a new one!

Their most recent pre-amp kit is supposed to be awesome too

I was just about to pull the trigger on a preamp kit when I learned about the NAD C658 DAC with DIRAC. I will be ordering that instead of the tube-preamp.
