which woofer better for sealed box

Woofers with low fs and high qts sounds best to my ears, higher voice coil inductance is also nice, all in all gives a meatier sound, but audiophiles usually likes anemic sound that is thin and cold and a bit hard

Of the 2 that you ask, according to the Fs/Qe calculation (which is not universally accepted) they are both suitable for closed box (and ported)
Using the supplied specs for a system Q of .707

The Classic gives a Volume of 1.78 cu ft and an F3 of 49 Hz

The Designer gives a Volume of 1.33 cu ft and an F3 of 55.2 Hz

Whatever system Q you go for the comparison between the 2 will be the same in terms of the relative box size and F3

Depends what you want.

I don’t pay much, if any attention, to F3 since it is menaingless to the human ear/brain (Toole).

Looking at midranges numbers, it seems that the SEAS A26RE4 goes lower in a slightly larger size sealed box. It also goes high enuff that it should melfd well with whatever is up top.

Here, a dicument still under revision, that details some A26 boxes including a golden ratio 70 litre sealed box.

Seas A26 Devore Style Build (post#51).
