I'm looking for a 50 watt x 2 T-amp. Which one should i buy? I'm looking for a complete package and not a DIY.

Is it actually 55W per channel at 8 ohms? It seems unbelievable.
It is unbelievable 🙂 the SA 60 is around 20 " real " watts per channel and the SA 36 maybe 10 at acceptable distortion levels into 8 ohm.
Those 2 amplifiers are still good for what they are but if you want a real amplifier that will drive anything, pick up an Emotiva MiniX. Sometimes they are on sale. A lot more realistic clarity and dynamic punch.
I have a Sound Appeal SA-100T (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E8ONRBS) and it sounds good for the price. The build quality is also very solid.

I love the Tripath sound and there are still quite a few NOS containers kicking around.
Altough having said that i think chinese stocks are pretty much dry now . Lapai used to use Tripath branded made in Korea chips untill last year, Tripath chips were made in Korea under licence,but now use a chinese branded chip . Remember Tripath itself is just a brand name lots of companies have copied and refined the technology since .
Amptastic a small UK manufacturer have stocks of genuine ta 2020 chips they source in Europe how much longer the supply will last is anyones guess but to assume all Tripath stuff is fake by now is wrong.
